TIUA Event-Bush elementary school

In 3/09/2011, the TIUA students went to Bush elementary school. They went to elementary school, and showed some Japanese traditional games to children. Maybe it was the first time for children to learn Japanese culture, and they enjoyed it. Both TIUA students and Bush elementary school students had a good time!

SAFEWAY

The SAFEWAY is a supermarket. It is a big chain store in U.S.A. One of the SAFEWAY store is near the Willamette University. They sale foods and articles for daily use. It helps Willamette University students' daily life a lot. Also, they have club cards. Sometimes, using a club card can be very very cheap. They open over midnight. So it's also a good place to get some midnight snack. They have an awesome system. People can check out without a shop assistant! What a  people-oriented service it is! SAFEWAY, ingredients for life!

Oregon State Capitol

This picture is back of the Oregon State Capitol. 
The Oregon State Capitol is located in the state capital, Salem.
There is no charge to visit it.

 There are four floors in the building.It's not a high building, but it's very artistically furnished.

There are many offices on the second, third and fourth floors.
They have a lot of beautiful stones. Maybe all of them are from Oregon.

It's a good place to visit.

LU'AU

   The popular event, LU'AU was held in Willamette University yesterday. Most of  Willamette students went to this event. LUAU is a event from Hawaii. They also sold Hawaiian food. The pineapples were very delicious. The most exciting part of LUAU was fire dance. That dance was awesome. Hawaii is a good place for traveling.

There is an event named Pow Wow which held in Salem every year.Lots of people from north American Indian came to this event this year. Their clothes were awesome. Some of them had a pretty feathers on their back. They sang together, they danced together, they had a good time. Powwow also sell food every year. This year, they had Indian Taco. It smelled and tasted very, very good. Powwow is very popular every year.
